Comments: Helicopters are indeed still cool, but Thunder Blade never fucking was. Here is the sum total of creative effort that went into Thunder Blade: hey, that Afterburner turned into a big hit for us, let's make an obvious direct sequel to it, but let's also make one with a helicopter [design stolen from shitty Blue Thunder movie] instead of an F-14. Brilliant. Kinda worked in the arcade, but at home on an 8-bit system it sucked donkey balls.
