Comments: None to shabby, actually, but if you want to see real power strikes get your hands on the old USAAF propaganda film "The Last Bomb" about the strategic bombing campaign against Japan during the final months of the Second World War. Amongst other things, there's some great color footage of VII Fighter Command P-51s strafing the holy hell out of anything that moves: trains, factories, boats, airfields, et cetera. Wild stuff. The film is included as a bonus in the documentary DVD Japan's War in Colour. See if you can find it as it is quite good in it's own right.

Comments: This game is pretty solid. The airplane on the box cover resembles the one in the game very much so. That guy is crazy. Anyway, I was raised on Sega and I have the biggest SMS collection in the SW united states but I recently downloaded and beat Super Mario 3 and it might be the funnest 8 bit game ever. but then I think of Wonder boy in monster land, wonder boy and the dragons trap, phantasy star, fantasy zone, zillion, alex kidd, and space harrier and cant say that.

Comments: This was one of the first games I got for my SMS when I had it for Xmas back in '86, I was very impressed with it then and surpisingly enough I'm still impressed with it now, great graphics (for the time) and catchy music not to mention the difficulty of this game make it top notch indeed, I give it 8 points becuase this game is still a brilliant shoot-em-up and it brings those memories flooding back, well done Sega/Compile.

Comments: Sega had an annoying habit, especially in the later years of the Master System, of making box covers that were more exciting than the actual games. This would probably qualify. As would After Burner, Thunder Blade, Spellcaster, Kenseiden, Blade Eagle 3-D, and Cloud Master among others.

Comments: I won this rare SMS cart on ebay awhile back, I all I have to say is that it is just as good as that cool NES shooter Zanac, and it even plays like that game too! (These games were both made by Compile) You get a variety of 8 different weapons, plus the game gets harder depending on your score! The graphics are not too exciting, but the music draws you in to the game! As a result, this is my favorite SMS shooter second to Fantasy Zone II. It\'s that good!

Comments: This is the greatest game ever! It's that simple. Okay, so it lacks a two player mode, and is very hard, but it has to have the best graphics ever on Master System, coupled with music that I still find myself humming years after I bought it. Even with the nine lives cheat and that special weapon 2, it's tough. But it's fun, and the enemies encountered depend on your special weapon and where you die. Never the same game twice. Bloody brilliant. Let's see Playstation 2 match this sort of class gamplay!

Comments: This is one of teh best shooters on the SMS. It is similar to Zanac on the NES, and is from the same developers. Abosoulutely great balance of fun and challenge. Not easy, but a great and rewarding game. It is known as "Aleste" in Japan.
