Comments: This game was one of the best of it's time. The TRUTH about the whole Adventure Island/Wonder Boy thing though, is that they were both developed by a company called Westone, not Sega or Hudson. Westone developed WB for Sega and they released it, first in arcade. But when Westone wanted to release one on the NES, Sega wouldn't allow it since they owned the copyright to the Wonder Boy 'character', so they came up with "Adventure Island" and released that on the NES.
